Early Learning Specialist

Salary Range- $36,000-$38,000

We are seeking an Early Learning Specialist, reporting directly to the PCHP Coordinator, to assist in fulfilling our mission to promote family unity, community safety and beautification, and provide wellness, cultural and educational programs for residents of Lake Worth West.

This is a full time salaried position with benefits including paid health insurance.

Some essential duties and responsibilities include:

Manage a caseload of 15 clients
Visit assigned families twice a week, for thirty-minute visits
Follow all home visit procedures as set by Program Supervisor
Create an atmosphere in the home to enable parents to feel comfortable in participating
Keep all paperwork up-to-date and organized, and submit all reports in a timely manner
Attend weekly staff meetings
Be responsible for all toys and books provided for home visits
Learn techniques for using the toys and books to increase verbal interaction between parent and child
Follow confidentiality and HIPAA laws
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

Minimum of two years of college education, BA in Human Services field is preferred.
Bilingual English/ Spanish
Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team and to work effectively with other community agencies in the best interest of the participant and the agency.
Ability to use computer systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Must have transportation for home visits, a valid Florida driver's license, automobile insurance, and clear driving record.
